PROPERTY OVERVIEW

The Historic Raymond Theatre is located at the corner of Raymond Avenue and Holly Street in the heart of an Old Town Pasadena, which is one of the most popular entertainment and shopping districts in the Los Angeles area.

The theatre was built about 1921.  It has 2,000 seats, a main floor and balcony, two lobbies,
a 40 x 40 stage and full fly loft, nine dressing rooms, four restrooms, a box office, kitchen and  an underground screening room.

There is an adjoining parking lot that is for sale with the Raymond Theatre. The parking lot can be redeveloped to retail, office, housing or perhaps other entertainment related uses.  The parking comes with variances that would allow a 65-foot building to be built on the parking lot (currently 45 feet is allowed in the area).

The Raymond Theatre is the last privately owned venue of it's size, that can offer major events
to the San Gabriel Valley region.  It has a track record of decades of sold out events with internationally known artists.

We are not the owners of the Raymond Theatre.  We are a preservation organization working of find a buyer to purchase the theatre from the owner.

Our goal is to find a buyer for the theatre who will retain it as a multi-use venue. The theatre is being sold with an adjoining parking lot that could be retained for parking or developed. We can supply you with a business plan, a list of required permits, code requirements and conceptual drawings. We can also put you in contact with operators or national promoters who are interested in long-term exclusives.
